Thank you for visiting the PraeSpero Farms website! We are so excited that you are here!
PraeSpero Farms is the brainchild of Sarah Froio, whose dream began while volunteering for a meal program and getting to know the guests. She saw how difficult it is for people with a history of homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorder, and incarceration to overcome obstacles and build a stable and productive life. She has spent the past several years befriending people on the outskirts of society, taking classes on psychology and addiction, researching existing programs, reading articles and studies, and meeting with people who are working diligently helping solve these problems. Sarah now plans to use her knowledge, experience, and entrepreneurial education to create another option – PraeSpero Farms. Read Sarah’s Story, and then read about our dream and what we stand for.
We are in the early stages of building this organization and are in need of people with specific skills and experience to help us make this a reality. If you are able to help (or can connect us with someone else who might be willing to help) please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As we continue this work, our needs will change and grow. If you are interested in getting updates announcements about our progress and potentially helping us in the future, please sign up for our mailing list below.
Seeking Advisory Council Members
PraeSpero Farms is recruiting members to add to our Advisory Council. We are looking for people with specific expertise who we can call upon to help us prepare to establish and launch PraeSpero Farms in 2020.
The Advisory Council currently needs people with knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Residential Program Management
- Clinical Psychology
- Social Work
- Communications/Marketing/Social Media
- Communication/Illustration/Story telling
The Advisory Council will serve PraeSpero Farms during the start-up process and ensure that we take proper care in laying the groundwork for building an operationally successful and financially sustainable organization. We are looking for people with relevant skills and experience who are passionate about helping those on the fringe of society become active and positive participants in their communities.
Please let us know if you are interested in being part of our Advisory Council during the next year or two. And please share our dream and plan with anyone you know who might want to help.
